Helping children is one of the priorities of the Olena Zelenska Foundation. Since the start of a full-scale invasion, children’s lives have changed significantly, but we need to save their childhood, even in such conditions. That is why we do everything possible to ensure that every child in Ukraine has access to education and a comfortable life, including children from family-type orphanages. The Foundation communicates directly with children and their guardians to understand their urgent needs and deliver to them what is needed here and now.
12 family-type orphanages in the Kyiv region, where 110 children live, and 11 family-type orphanages in the Odesa region, with 100 children there, have already received our help. Among the needs covered by the Olena Zelenska Foundation are equipment (laptops, tablets, smartphones, dishwashers, washing machines, heaters); warm blankets; sleeping bags; drinking water reservoirs; dishes and bed linen; firewood; furniture (wardrobe, beds, tables, and chairs).
