As part of the Digital Equity for Ukraine project, the Olena Zelenska Foundation and the Ukraine House Foundation in Washington handed over 2,309 laptops to teachers from the Kherson region. HP Inc. and Microsoft Inc. provided laptops and software. Supplying laptops to teachers is part of the GBC-Education initiative with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America.

In November, the Olena Zelenska Foundation and Ukraine House received almost 21,000 laptops in total as part of the Digital Equity for Ukraine project. They are handing them over to teachers from the communities most affected by the war in 12 regions.

"Ukrainian teachers have already experienced many problems. They teach our children in bomb shelters, at home, under shellings. They continue to share their knowledge with students in any conditions. Therefore, we want to support them for their dedication to their work and support for our children," says the director of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, Nina Horbachova.

Digital Equity for Ukraine is a project created by the Global Business Coalition for Education (GBC-Education) with the assistance of the Olena Zelenska Foundation to provide Ukrainian teachers with laptops to improve the educational process. Donors of the project are HP and Microsoft, which provide laptops and software. GBC-Education, Ukraine House Foundation in Washington and the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America organize the supply of laptops to teachers.
