Results
In early 2025, construction started on a new creative and sports center. The facility aims to become a space for the development of children and young people. The estimated date of the center’s establishment is the second quarter of 2026.
About the Project
The Olena Zelenska Foundation strives to create a safe and supportive environment for Ukrainian children’s learning and their physical and creative development. Therefore, restoring the Children’s Creative and Sports Center in Borodyanka is one of the Foundation’s priority objectives.
The center, which united the Borodyanka Center for Children and Youth Creativity, the Children and Youth Sports School, and the Children’s School of Arts, was completely destroyed by Russian shelling at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This was the only space for children from Borodyanka and neighboring communities to develop.
After the reconstruction, children can again attend their favorite clubs and sports sections. The new 3,000 m² center will include sports and choreography halls, an aviation modeling lab, boxing and freestyle wrestling halls, and more.
