Goal

Expanding the “Schools of Superheroes” centers at hospitals by scaling up and opening new educational centers.

Results

Six “Schools of Superheroes” were established with funding from the Foundation in Rivne, Vinnytsia, Kryvyi Rih, Poltava, Lviv, and Odesa hospitals. These educational spaces ensure continuous learning for children while they are receiving treatment. The Foundation already funded the establishment of six more new centers in 2025.

About the Project

The Olena Zelenska Foundation funded the establishment of six “Schools of Superheroes,” educational spaces in hospitals for children undergoing long-term treatment or rehabilitation.

The first center was launched in Kyiv in 2016 as part of the Non-Profit Organization’s “Small Heart with Art” initiative. Since 2021, the project has been implemented under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine. This has become an essential step in scaling up the initiative. The project expanded and later became a full-fledged public institution thanks to proven efficacy and support.

In 2024, the Olena Zelenska Foundation joined the initiative by funding the establishment of six new “Schools of Superheroes.” In total, there are currently 17 such educational centers in Ukraine.

The Foundation already funded the establishment of six more new centers in 2025, and their establishment is being prepared now.
