Goal

Providing large foster families, including those raising children with disabilities, with minivans for their daily needs.

Need

The large foster families we care for need about 50 minivans, 20 of which are inclusive minivans adapted for transporting children with disabilities.

About the Project

As a result of the war, large foster families have lost not only their homes but also their vehicles, which are a critical necessity for daily life and for ensuring access to education, medicine, social services, etc. In addition, many large foster families raise children with disabilities. Therefore, they need inclusive vehicles equipped to transport children safely.

Totally, the large foster families need about 50 vehicles, 20 of which are inclusive minivans adapted for transporting children with disabilities.

The best option for large foster families is 8–12-seat minivans or minibuses, including the Hyundai H-1, Opel Vivaro, Toyota Proace Verso, Ford Tourneo Custom, Hyundai STARIA Wagon, Volkswagen Caravelle 6.1, and Ford Transit Minibus.

A white minivan with the AWT and Olena Zelenska Foundation logos is parked indoors. Two men are standing near the open rear entrance of the vehicle. The surrounding area appears to be a garage or a service station.
