Providing minivans to large foster families

Goal

Providing large foster families with minivans to ensure safe transportation for children.

Need

Large foster families currently require approximately 50 vehicles, including about 20 adapted minibuses for transporting children with disabilities.

About the Project

As a result of the war, many large foster families lost not only their homes but also their vehicles, which are essential for everyday life and for ensuring access to education, healthcare, and social services.

In addition, many large foster families raise children with disabilities and therefore require inclusive vehicles adapted for safe transportation.

The most suitable option for large foster families are 8–12-seat minivans or minibuses such as Hyundai H-1, Opel Vivaro, Toyota Proace Verso, Ford Tourneo Custom, Hyundai STARIA Wagon, Volkswagen Caravelle 6.1, and Ford Transit Minibus.

In addition to supporting large foster families, the Foundation also helps educational institutions. In 2026, the Foundation transferred four nine-seat minivans to educational institutions in the Transcarpathian region to improve access to education for students living in remote mountain communities.
