80 large foster families in the Kharkiv region received assistance from the Olena Zelenska Foundation

Over 600 children from 80 large foster families in the Kharkiv region received assistance from the Olena Zelenska Foundation. Despite the constant shelling of Bohodukhiv, Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, Izium, and other dangerous districts of the Kharkiv region, these families continue to take in children from orphanages. The Foundation's team is doing everything possible to help these families with their household needs.

With the support of the European Investment Bank, the most necessary items are being purchased for these families: furniture, household appliances, household goods, and educational gadgets. Each family receives personalized attention: parents draw up a list of items and building materials they need, but are unable to purchase on their own due to their circumstances. The orders are then processed and delivered to the families.

The Foundation reports that families in the Kharkiv region are increasingly requesting building materials to repair and insulate their homes, upgrade heating systems, and repair bathrooms. While the children are resting, the families are preparing for winter.

In total, thanks to the charitable contribution of the European Investment Bank, since the beginning of the year the Foundation has provided all the necessary support to over 2,000 children from 290 foster families in Ukraine. Next, the Foundation plans to provide assistance in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where there are currently more than 100 large foster families.
