The Olena Zelenska Foundation continues to work in the field of education to improve the conditions of distance learning for those who need it. The focus is on helping teachers and students who have been forced to switch to online lessons due to the full-scale war.
Today, schools in 12 regions of Ukraine operate either in a mixed or remote format. This is due to the constant threat of missile attacks and the temporary occupation of the regions. Educational institutions from these areas of the country had to adapt to the realities and transfer the educational process online. But it is impossible without technology. The Olena Zelenska Foundation provides targeted assistance to those who need it.
This time, the Foundation is handing over 160 laptops to children from Luhansk Oblast through the Vostok SOS public initiative. All the students are internally displaced and study remotely.
Half of the laptops have already reached their recipients and are helping them with their studies. The other half is being prepared for shipment.
